Gentlemen we now have 5 life
members. The National Dues for Life
are $300 up to age 59, $200 between
60-69, $100 70 and over. This is
something we should all start saving
our pennies for. According to the
Division Roster the most Life members
any Camp in Georgia has is 8, we now
have 5 with a few more prospective Life
Memberships in the works. Lets get
those dues in and get this behind us.
I know we will inevitably lose a few
members who just don't have their
hearts in the organization but we will
keep forging on and recruit new

members to fill the ranks just as our
Confederate forefathers did. In the "big
picture" the dues are a small price to
pay to show your pride in honoring
your ancestors in this Camp.
     On to other subjects. For those of
you with computers, or access to one,
we now have a new website thanks to
our Webmaster Stephanie Watkins.
She has done an excellent job and adds
new things daily. The site has only
been up a week or 2 and has
already had over 40,000 hits according to the
hit counter. Gentlemen we are being
watched from allover the world. We
are known allover for our activity and
have gained quite a bit of attention for
our fast growth and short eventful
history. We must take full advantage of
this and carry on with our
fight. Our new site can be seen at:

     The new site also affords us the
chance to have a Guest Book that folks
can sign online. This site also gives
each member endless e-mail that
Stephanie can set up for you with your
name/rank@scvcamp2022.org.
Stephanie is as of now working on
an online store where we can sell our
merchandise that we would normally
sell at fundraisers.
     On the subject of "fundraisers", we
have not had a fundraiser since before
the holidays and the kitty is starving.
We need to get something going soon.
Lets plan another BBQ and shirt sale.
We have also started a "Honors Fund"
where we will accept donations to help
the Camp acquire some uniforms and
equipment so that we can do Marker
Dedications and Flag Details,
along with being able to get into local schools
to do live Confederate History
presentations. The fund has recently
received a $150 donation. This will
help buy part of 1 uniform but we must .
