raise more donations so let folks know what we're doing and maybe they'll reach way down deep to help out. January is Lee-Jackson month with both great men born this month (Lee/19th-Jackson/21st), most Camps hold a Lee-Jackson Banquet this month where the members and wives are invited to attend. I propose we hold ours locally or either have a family cookout. Let me know what you think or give me some ideas. We must make this a priority issue as time is drawing near. As far as a cookout, I believe we still have a few butts in the freezer. Our Camp House is still "in the works" for those of you who haven't been by, the sheet rock is up in the back room but lots of help is still needed. Adj. Ham would surely appreciate any help that can be afforded either physically or monetarily. Gentlemen nothing is free in this world and we need to show our appreciation for this project by devoting a little time there. No one has to be on hand for some of us to just stop by and do a little raking or cutting weeds or just picking up trash or even better doing a little physical labor . Any would be a help. A little bit on upcoming events or plans we have in the works: January- Lee/Jackson month, 3rd Monday is Confederate Heroes day.

August- 6th Capt. James Knox dies
