Folks,
First I would like to say thank you for the confidence you have shown me in nominating me for the position of Color Sgt. for which I was elected. On my ride home tonight I got to thinking what that position has meant to me in this Camp and it has always, and will always be represented by Ken Thrift. I therefore wish to make this my formal notice of resignation from the position of Color Sgt. and humbly ask you to please appoint Ken Thrift back into that position. Please consider this as the right thing to do. Thank you and again please consider this as my resignation from that position.
